Katy B
British breakout star Katy B is 22 and has released only one album, but already she is making a name for herself on the charts with her funky R&B style. Her first single, appropriately titled ‘Katy on a Mission,’ climbed all the way to number one on the U.K.’s indie chart and number five on the U.K. singles chart.
Katy B, who has a degree in pop music, was nominated for the 2011 Mercury Prize. Her debut album, On a Mission, was released this year and reached number two on the U.K. albums chart.
